A blend of Nature, culture, history, folk and fairy tales
This summer trip combines not only the discovery of Iceland´s natural beauty and environment, but it gives also the country’s visitors the opportunity to experience the rich cultural heritage of Icelanders and their believes in all sorts of supernatural beings, such elves, trolls and other hidden people, making this trip an exciting and interesting experience.
Our main focus in this tour is South Iceland, with accommodation in the towns of Selfoss and Hveragerdi which are about 50-56 kms south-east of Reykjavik. These two places are ideal for those who would like to be very close to nature, in a peaceful environment and natural surroundings, and who also want to spend more time visiting areas and places. The two towns are very close to the main nature tourist areas. Compared to Reykjavik, it takes less time to reach these places from Selfoss and Hveragerdi, which gives more time to enjoy visits to these amazing sites.
